Context
HR teams needed a single place to publish quarterly workshops, manage capacity, and keep calendar and email reminders in sync without a spreadsheet pile.
Challenge
Workshop operations break when capacity, waitlists, reminders, and post-event notes live in different tools. AI summaries also cannot go out unreviewed.
Solution
The demo combines a Next.js portal, Fastify API, shared workflow rules, and mock adapters. PostgreSQL schemas and Google Workspace / Azure OpenAI adapters are included, but a durable repository, SSO/RBAC, and production worker wiring are still required. Production mode intentionally refuses to boot until that work is complete.
Inside the project
Logical components and integration boundaries. This diagram is not a deployment or compliance certification.

The Next.js portal calls a Fastify API backed by shared registration, capacity, waitlist, reminder, and approval rules. Mock adapters support demo execution. Drizzle database schemas and Google Workspace and Azure OpenAI adapters are scaffolds for future production wiring. A durable repository, Google SSO and role-based access, and a long-lived worker must be completed before production mode can boot. Dashed boxes identify pending integration work.
